Cadence OrCAD 10 Instalation Notes

1-  Run MakeLic to make a node locked license or MakeFloatLic for a floating one...
    I really recomend using the nodelocked, so you will not have to set services.
    Or you may just use the attached ones.
    
2-  It will create the required license.dat file to enable ALL cadence products
    and open it on notepad. Save it to a place you will remember. If you already
    use the c:\flexlm folder save it there as ORCAD.DAT or other folder you normally
    save your licenses. You may also append to your current LICENSE.DAT, but remember
    to strip out the server and daemon lines, you dont need them, just for setup.
    
3-  A copy of this license will be also saved as C:\INSTALLINFO.TXT

4-  Now run the setup.exe from the Orcad CD.

5-  Skip step 1 and go straight to install software.

6-  When asked about the INSTALLINFO.TXT, point to the one saved in your c:\
    Leave port and server info as they are for now...
    
7-  Install the products you need/want.

8-  After installing, go to the folder you installed Orcad and open the compnts.dat file
    Now, replace the SERVER1=27001@yorservername by the full path to the saved license
    file, example:SERVER1=C:\CAD\SECURITY\LICENSES\OrCAD.DAT
    
9-  Enjoy
我按上面的方法一步一步來的,但每次打開Orcad都會出現(xiàn)要驗證licenses.而且,我從www.Orcad.com網站上下載的pspice的Schematics也不能用,每次都說打不開pspice AD.
